Marco Mazzoni

As a resident of Milan, Italy for the past 5 years, Macro Mazzoni has refined his delicate, graceful colored pencil technique to create a natural, true to life collaboration between flora and fauna and the human face. Marco states his work is inspired by “references to the Sardinian female-based societies from 16th to the 18th centuries which conserved their culture through the storytelling.” Marco currently has work on display in a show entitled ‘Modern Fabulists’ which is being put on by Coates and Scarry at the View Art Gallery in Bristol, UK. You can also catch his work in solo show entitled ‘XTSY’ which will be held later in the year at Gallery B15 in Copenhagen.
