Sterling Hundley

The fourth pick from our guest blogger Chris B. Murray is a talented artist from Virginia name Sterling Hundley. The illustrator, who is an Assistant Professor at VCU as well as an annual instructor for the Illustration Academy held at Ringling College of Art and Design, creates emotionally charged artwork that’s muted by desaturated tones and sometimes unusual form. These unnatural techniques seem to work well for Hundley as his impressive client list is topped with names such as GQ, Entertainment Weekly, The New York Times, Rolling Stone, and many more.
