For example, one of Tagliavini’s latest projects combines the beauty of the human face with the simplicity of well designed cardboard outfits.

Natalie Shau

Lithuanian illustrator and photographer Natalie Shau works in a mixture of digital media including photography, digital painting and 3D elements.  Influenced by religious imagery, Natalie uses these formats to create colorful fairytale settings where her strange and surreal characters uphold a sense of power in the midst of their own fragility.  Natalie’s work will soon be on display alongside Ray Caesar’s paintings at the Dorothy Circus Gallery in Rome.  The show entitled “Would You Be My Miracle” runs from June 8th to July 15th, 2011.
